After Jesus was Baptised by John in the River Jordan. He went out to the desert., the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. He went to be The desert is a dangerous place, nobody goes to the desert unless they have to. It’s boiling

hot during the day and freezing cold at night. Jesus was hot, hungry, old and tired. Whilst he was in the desert the devil tried to tempt him to do bad things but Jesus didn’t give in to the bad stuff.



Whilst running your fingers through the sand think about the times when things get a bit tough for you? How do you remember God in these times?



Tip the sand out into the little dish and draw patterns in it to help you remember that God is always there for you!
