St. Agatha's Skeeby

The delightful little church of St Agatha is in a village between Scotch Corner and Richmond.

This is a parish church in its own right and part of the parish of Easby, Skeeby, Brompton on Swale and Bolton on Walek, it is not as old as our other parish churches it is amuch loved and cared place of worship whilst being adaptable for other events too. St Agatha's has a kitchen and an accessible toilet, it has level access to everywhere in the building except behind the sanctuary rail.

The church is open daily for reflection and prayer, with tea and coffee making faciilities available for use too.

As a parish we worship in one church building every week, beginning with a 9am followed by a 10.30am service. As a gatheredy Church community we have a vibrancy and life which relies on the Holy Spirit to equip and to guide us into being Church fit for 2030 and beyond.

St Agatha is licensed for Marriage Services (for the more ‘compact’ wedding – guests 50/60) and there is a marvellous old font for Baptisms! It is always well-heated in the colder months! More details on our website
